If you could only grab one item when the SHTF, what would it be? For me, it's always the first aid kit—can improvise a lot, but you can’t replace good medical supplies in a pinch. Curious what everyone else would prioritize.

First aid kit is a solid choice, Linda, and honestly I might regret not picking it myself if things went sideways health-wise. But if I could only grab one thing, I’d have to go with my gravity-fed water filter. I figure you can forage food, maybe even improvise bandages, but without clean water you’re out of luck pretty quick. My garden might help with food, but water’s trickier to make safe on the fly.
