When the power goes out, what's the one item you absolutely can't do without? Trying to refine my own setup, but there's just so many options—solar lanterns, battery banks, hand-crank radios, even old-fashioned candles or oil lamps. Personally, I've become partial to rechargeable headlamps since they're hands-free and useful

A reliable LED lantern is my top pick—gives enough light for a whole room without the fire risk of candles or oil lamps. I love that the batteries last for ages and you don’t have to worry about knocking it over. Also, a decent battery bank for charging phones is a lifesaver, especially during longer outages. Has anyone tried solar-powered lights in cloudy weather? Wondering if they’re worth the investment.
