Water comes first in my mind, too—without it, nothing else matters much after a couple days. I’ve got barrels, filters, and a backup plan for rain catchment, but I do start thinking security almost right away. As soon as folks realize the outage isn’t just a blip, things could turn tense fast. Anyone else stash extra water somewhere neighbors wouldn’t think to look?
