Oreo’s little face is just the sweetest thing—those big eyes! Something about kittens just makes the world feel a bit softer, doesn’t it? Funny enough, my pup Rosie has her own little “preparedness” ritual…I’ll be sorting out my emergency bins and she’ll sneak in, snatch a sock, and claim it as her “find.” Sometimes I pause organizing just to chuckle at her antics. Pets really do have a way of sneaking simple joy into our routines—even during serious moments.

Last week, my neighbor’s old tabby curled up right on top of my seed-saving jars while I was prepping for the next garden season. It’s almost like he knew I needed a reminder to slow down and enjoy the goofy side of things. Anyone else’s animals have quirky habits when you’re working on your supplies or projects?
