Daisy’s got the kind of face that melts even the toughest day away. There’s just something grounding about the presence of animals—watching my old shepherd chase butterflies around the garden always brings me back to the present moment. I swear, she’s got a knack for sensing when I need cheering up, comes right over and plops her head in my lap. Really reminds me how our animal companions have been part of survival for generations, not just for protection or work but for their unshakable positivity.
