Max is adorable, and those puppy antics sure brighten up the day! Pet companionship is such a treasure, isn't it? Not many people know this, but I have a cat named Frisky who loves to keep me company when I'm checking on my supplies or doing a bit of gardening.

Now, Frisky isn't your typical cat—he's a 'prepper cat', one might say. He has a knack for sniffing out when the food buckets aren't as tightly sealed as they should be, saving me from potential spoiled store. Once, he even alerted me to a small water leak in my rainwater collection system that I wouldn't have noticed till much later.

Does anyone else have a pet with a special skill or 'sixth sense'? They can be quite useful in a prepping lifestyle, aside from being just outright lovable.
