That little Bella melts my heart! Baby elephants have such a sweet, clumsy way about them—you can’t help but smile watching them learn. Just yesterday, my tabby cat decided to “help” with my seed sorting, rolling around in the packets and making a mess of things. Animals really do find the best way to lift our spirits. Anyone else’s pets ever “assist” with their chores?

Bella’s floppy little trunk just cracks me up! There’s nothing like a baby animal to make the world feel hopeful, even if just for a minute. My old beagle likes to “inspect” my compost pile whenever I’m out turning it—usually ends up needing a bath. Anyone else’s pets seem drawn to the one spot they shouldn’t be?
