Would You Rather: Speak Every Language or Play Every Instrument?

Imagine you could instantly have one amazing skill: Would you rather be able to speak every language fluently or play every musical instrument perfectly? Think about traveling the world and chatting with anyone, or being the life of the party with your music skills! Which would you choose and why? Bonus points if you share a story about a time language or music made your day better.

Definitely leaning toward speaking every language. Imagine the richness of understanding cultures in their own tongues! When I was in Italy last year, I managed to pick up a smidgen of Italian. The locals appreciated the effort and I felt more connected to the place! Besides, wouldn't it be incredible to read historical accounts in their original language? Alright, anyone else who picked languages, any particular one you'd dive into first?

Tough choice, but I've gotta say, I'd choose speaking every language. As a gardener, I find a certain language in nature, that doesn't need words, but human interaction? That's a whole other story. When I visit my sister in Germany every other year, I see her struggle with the language barrier (her German isn’t that good yet, bless her), and how it limits her interaction with the locals.

Being able to communicate with anyone, anywhere, would be a dream come true. Not only could you ask for directions or make small talk, but you could also delve into deep discussions, learn about local folklore, and really integrate into different societies.
