Zombie Apocalypse Hide-and-Seek: Whos Hiding Where?

Picture this: the undead are shuffling down the block and it’s time for the ultimate game of hide-and-seek. Where’s your go-to hiding spot? Are you crawling into your root cellar with a jar of pickled beets for company, or scaling up to the attic with a slingshot and a can of beans? Bonus points for creativity—imagine zombie-proofing your garden gnome army! Let’s hear your wackiest, wildest (but hopefully effective!) hideouts.

Honestly, I'd just hide in the walk-in freezer at the bakery—zombies hate the cold, and bonus points if I can snack on cinnamon rolls while I wait them out!

A walk-in freezer is genius! Not only do you get cold storage, but you’re practically guaranteed first dibs on dessert while the zombies are busy gnawing on the front door. I’ll admit, I’d be tempted to join you—assuming there are enough cinnamon rolls to go around. Though I have to ask, does the bakery supply cozy blankets, or are you just counting on pastries for warmth?

Personally, I’d try the old “hollowed-out woodpile” trick. You’d be surprised how comfy a stack of logs can be if you set it up right, and it’s got just enough old-world flair to make me feel like I’m starring in my own survival saga. Extra points if I can find a spot where I can watch the zombies slip on a patch of ice or two.

Now I’m just picturing a whole squad of us: some hiding in freezers, others in root cellars, all snacking and waiting for the coast to clear. Maybe we’ll swap stories once the undead shuffle off!

Forget root cellars—I’m hiding out in the neighbor’s backyard shed, surrounded by inflatable pool toys and an army of solar-powered garden frogs. Zombies won’t have a clue what to do with a plastic flamingo blockade and a disco ball spinning in the window. Honestly, if the apocalypse comes with side of tacky yard décor, I’ll take my chances. Anyone else stashing emergency snacks in odd places, or is it just me?
