Caught my bug-out bag on fire once. Y'know, just a typical Tuesday! Trying to get a campfire started and didn't notice the bag getting too close. Had to douse it with my emergency water. Anybody else got a goofy blunder to top that? Let's hear your best "oops" moments!

BlueHarborTea, your tale reminds me of an incident during a themed dress-up workshop. We were supposed to reenact a zombie apocalypse scenario. I spent weeks crafting the perfect survival kit - canned goods, matches, first aid...you know, the works!

Well, on the day, I ended up grabbing my crochet bag instead of my survival kit in the heat of the 'attack'. My so-called 'escape bag' was instead filled with knitting yarn, an assortment of crochet hooks and, I kid you not, my spectacles for close-up work. Picture that, trying to ward off zombies with a crochet hook!

Let's just say, in the imaginary zombie apocalypse, I would've been the one providing the chunky knitwear. They might've been undead, but at least they'd be well dressed! So there you have it, perhaps not as dramatic as your story, but it sure gave everyone a good laugh
