Is Anyone Still Canning Food This Year?

Canning season used to be such a big deal around here, but I haven’t heard much about it lately. With prices climbing and the shelves looking pretty sketchy sometimes, I’m surprised more folks aren’t talking about putting up their own food. I’ve got a pressure canner running almost every weekend—mainly green beans, tomatoes, and some homemade soups. Water bath canning for jams and pickles, too.

Is anyone else sticking with canning

Those homemade soups sound wonderful, especially with how unpredictable groceries have gotten lately. I’m still canning this year—actually picked up some extra jars since my pantry feels a little emptier than I’d like. Did you have any trouble finding lids?

Still canning every summer, can’t beat the taste or peace of mind. Lids were tricky to find in June, but it’s better now—did you try any new recipes this year?

Absolutely agree, nothing like pantry shelves lined with your own jars. Tried a zucchini relish this year—turned out tangy but sweeter than I expected. Anyone else experimenting with new recipes?
