Anthropic adds 28 security and compliance integrations for Claude

Expanding Security Measures for Advanced Technology Applications

As advanced technology tools start to become a daily necessity in professional settings, the demand for improved security and monitoring is on the rise. In response to this need, a leading tech company recently unveiled 28 new features designed to enhance security and compliance for its popular AI tool, Claude.

These updates are designed to enable IT and security teams to manage Claude just like any other application in their digital ecosystem.

Enhancements Powered by a Special Compliance API

The new features are driven by the Claude Compliance API. This interface empowers enterprise teams with the ability to systematically access two kinds of data.

Firstly, it provides access to conversation content from Claude Enterprise. This includes chat logs, file uploads, and projects. With this information at their fingertips, organizations can implement their existing security protocols, monitoring systems, and data loss prevention policies.

Secondly, the API provides insights into activity events from Claude Enterprise and the Claude Platform. This includes data on user logins, administrative actions, and changes in configurations. This feature is particularly useful in gaining visibility into how Claude is being used across an organization.

Streamlining Security and Oversight

The Compliance API is a REST API that provides enterprise IT and security teams with systematic access to Claude's activity data. Instead of relying on manual exports and sporadic reviews, organizations can now use the Compliance API to gain real-time systematic access to Claude usage data and customer content. This allows them to establish continuous monitoring systems and automated policy enforcement.

Providers for the New Integrations

The new security improvements are available through 28 providers. These span various categories including data loss prevention, SASE, data security, SIEM, security operations, identity management, eDiscovery, AI security posture management, and observability tools.

The list of new providers includes well-known names in the industry such as Cloudflare, Cribl, CrowdStrike, Cyera, Datadog, Forcepoint, Fortinet, Geordie AI, IBM Guardium, Microsoft Purview, Mimecast, Okta, Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, Relativity, ReliaQuest, Rubrik, SailPoint, Smarsh, Snyk, Sumo Logic, Tenable, Theta Lake, Trellix, Varonis, Wiz, and Zscaler.

Making Security and Compliance More Accessible

For organizations that are already using one of these security and compliance platforms, incorporating coverage for their Claude usage becomes a lot simpler. They just need to connect and set up their Claude instance, and then the data will flow into the same dashboards and alerting workflows they use for their other applications.

This is a significant step towards making advanced technology more secure and compliant, and ensuring that it can be managed just like any other application in an organization's digital infrastructure.
