That photo of the “Silent Guardian” really struck a chord with me. There’s something powerful about seeing a tree stand tall despite whatever storms roll through. Reminds me of the old apple tree on the edge of my property—gnarled and worn, but every year it surprises me with a basketful of fruit, no matter the weather. I snapped a picture of it this morning, bathed in soft golden light while dew clung to the leaves. It’s a little reminder that resilience isn’t always loud or flashy, sometimes it’s just steady and persistent.

I love seeing everyone’s preparedness setups and gardens too. There’s so much creativity in how folks organize their supplies or coax a garden out of tough soil. It’s really motivating, especially on days when things feel overwhelming. Anyone else have a spot in their yard that just refuses to grow anything no matter what you do
