Been using the CIVIVI Mini for a couple of months now, edge retention is fantastic, seriously impressive for its size! Has anyone tried it for any heavy-duty tasks?

That’s really encouraging to hear about the edge retention, especially considering the size. I’ve mostly used mine for light tasks—prepping veggies from the garden, opening packages, nothing too heavy-duty yet. Curious if you’ve put it through batoning or tougher camp chores, ChamomileCraze? I wonder how that D2 steel would

Edge retention on this little knife sounds better than a lot of pricier brands I’ve tried. Really appreciate hearing it holds up for food prep too—sometimes you just need one tool that does it all, especially in the garden or out camping. The ceramic bearings must make a difference for folks with weaker hands (mine aren’t what they used to be). Has anyone noticed rust spots on the blade if you forget to dry it right away, or is it pretty forgiving?

Cutting up apples or tomatoes on the go is exactly the kind of thing I end up doing with these little knives, too. Haven’t noticed any issues with cleanup either—just quick soap and water, and I make sure to dry it fast so no spots show up. The G10 handle doesn’t hold smells, which is a relief after dealing with onions. Anyone else have luck with it on tougher veggies, like carrots?
