Armed Drone Discovered Near Runway at German Cargo Airport
A routine night at a major German shipping hub quickly turned into a security emergency when a worker discovered an unmanned drone carrying explosives sitting near a runway. The discovery forced the immediate shutdown of the airport, disrupted flights, and triggered a large-scale investigation by national security officials.
The incident began shortly before midnight when observers spotted a flying object near the airfield.
