That honey fungus fact always amazes me. Nature’s networks are so much deeper and more connected than we give credit for—kind of humbles a person! What gets me is how vital fungi are for soil health. They create massive underground highways that let plants share nutrients, water, and even chemical warnings about pests. Knowing this actually changed how I garden; I stopped digging so much and started using more mulch so those fungal networks could stay intact.
