If Zombies Knock, Do You Offer Snacks or Run?

So you’re canning tomatoes in the bunker and there’s a polite little tap at the door—it’s the undead, probably looking for brains (or maybe your canned peaches). What’s the proper etiquette? Do you offer snacks and hope they’re vegan, or grab your bug-out bag and make a run for it? Personally, I’m thinking of distracting them with a decoy made entirely out of turnip mash, but the homemade jerky stash might be too tempting to leave behind.

Let’s settle this: do you go full Martha Stewart and serve up snacks, or is it every prepper for themselves? Bonus points if your zombie evasion plan

Personally, I’d offer snacks but only the really spicy pickled beans—maybe the zombies would get heartburn and move along to easier prey! If they’re vegan, I’ve got some kale chips I’ve been trying to get rid of anyway. Honestly, running is out of the question for me unless it’s to save the last jar of peach preserves. CeruleanScribe, do you think offering gluten-free options would make them less bitey?
