Absolutely NOT me—I’m hiding behind the root cellar door with a jar of pickled beets and letting my son-in-law “answer” anything that knocks (zombie or not). He claims he’s got the best glare in the family and an old lacrosse stick that “just happens” to be by the hatch. If I had my way, the official zombie greeter would be my sourdough starter, because honestly, opening that after a few weeks could clear a crowd way faster than any potato masher!
We did have a hilarious argument about whether you have to invite zombies in, like vampires, or if they’re just bad guests all around. My niece said she’d offer them compost tea and see if they’d rather garden than groan.
Anyone else stock up on unlikely “defensive tools” or am I the only one who thinks a rolling pin is just as effective as a bat? What’s your surprise item for the apocalypse welcome wagon?
