If Zombies Knock, Who’s Answering Your Door?

Suppose there’s a knock and you catch a glimpse of a shuffling silhouette through the peephole—do you go straight for the bug-out bag or try convincing them you’ve only got canned spinach? I’m starting to think my “No Soliciting” sign should specify “Especially Not Zombies.” What would your go-to move be if the undead came calling? Bonus points for funniest anti-zombie doorbell deterrent!

If zombies start knocking, I'm half-tempted to just slide my library overdue notice under the door and hope the paperwork scares them off (it works for most living folks, honestly). There’s also my trusty garden gnome army on the porch—surely twenty concrete glares would give any undead a pause. Maybe I’ll blast some Gregorian chants; if nothing else, it’ll confuse them long enough for me to finish my cup of tea.

For extra deterrent, I could put up a sign: “Brains sold out—try next door!”
