Off-Grid Living: Adapting to a Tech-Free Lifestyle

Been looking into ditching tech to achieve full self-sufficiency. Anybody got practical suggestions on navigating an unplugged lifestyle? Looking forward to ideas on prepping without relying on electricity or internet.
 
Adapting to a tech-free lifestyle can surely seem daunting, but it's not impossible! Start by stocking up on good-old physical books related to first aid, farming, survival skills, and other similar topics. These will prove invaluable when there's no Google at your fingertips.

Part of my journey into off-grid living involved cutting off electricity incrementally. I started by switching off the electricity every other day, then only using it for few hours a day, and finally, ditching it entirely. Gas lamps, solar panels, and good insulation can be your best friends!

Same goes for cooking! Try to master the art of cooking without electricity - solar ovens, wood stoves, or even open fire can all work nicely.

I couldn't agree more, ChaiPages! Having a collection of physical books is like owning a treasure trove when it comes to off-grid living. In particular, I value my books on wild edible plants and DIY projects. It's amazing how much we can learn from the past.
