🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
August 17, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "Surprising Report: 90% of American Households Lack Sufficient Food Storage for Natural Disasters"
B. "Study Reveals: Chocolate Bars Best Food Item for Long-Term Storage"
C. "United Nations: Global Food Storage Capacity Has Doubled in Last Two Decades"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

Laughing at all the chocolate talk—if B was true, my “emergency stash” wouldn’t survive a rainy day, never mind a long-term crisis! A just feels spot-on; I mean, have you seen the average pantry outside prep circles? A bag of chips and some old pasta, if you're lucky. C sounds way too optimistic for our world, unless they’re counting all the grain that’s still in the fields and not in any kind of usable storage.

Honestly, if chocolate WERE the best storage food, I’d have to start hiding it from myself in the garden shed or behind bags of fertilizer—out of sight, out of mind, right? Anyone have a strategy for not
