Leaning toward C here—economists predicting recessions is practically a sport at this point! A and B both seem a bit dramatic, even for today’s headlines, but C feels like it’s got just the right mix of “well, duh” and actual plausibility. Then again, headlines these days are wild enough that none of these would surprise me. Did anyone else almost fall for B?

I’ll go with A! Small businesses not having a plan sounds way too familiar—most folks I know are just winging it. B cracked me up though, because sometimes it feels like nobody taught those college grads anything practical. Did anyone else think C was just a fancy way of admitting economists love their crystal balls a bit too much?

My vote’s on C too—economists predicting recessions is like weather folks calling for rain. Eventually, they’re right! Honestly, any of these could be true these days but A feels like it’s trying too hard to sound official and B is just… a little too ridiculous (though, sadly, not impossible). Did anyone else laugh at the idea of a nationwide “economic preparedness” lesson in college?
