Gotta go with A, “40% of Americans do not have an emergency preparedness plan in place.” That number actually sounds a bit *low* now that I think about all my neighbors who still think extra toilet paper counts as advanced prepping. B seems way too optimistic—if most folks had a meetup spot, my book club wouldn’t still be arguing about where to go when we get rained out! As for C, surviving a week without water? Even my stubborn tomato plants would turn up their leaves at that one.

Honestly, these headlines are sneaky, though. B tripped me up for a second—it’d be nice if it were real, but I’m guessing reality is more “majority argue about whether to go to Grandma’s or the hardware store.”

Anyone ever actually try to get family to agree on an emergency spot? I can’t even get consensus on pizza toppings, let alone disasters!
