Stocking Up: What Am I Forgetting For Long-Term Survival?

Been rounding out my food stores, water, meds, and hygiene supplies, but feels like I’m missing some important categories for true long-term sustainability. What do you all tend to overlook or wish you’d added sooner? Any must-haves beyond the usual basics?

One thing folks miss a lot is extra glasses or backup reading specs if you need them—hard to do much if you can’t see well. Also, good gloves for work and warmth, plus things like sewing kits and sturdy thread. Comfort items matter for morale too; I stash a few decks of cards for the grandkids. Ever stock up on bartering items like lighters or soap?

Solar-powered chargers and batteries get overlooked a lot—being able to power small stuff or radios off-grid is huge. Anyone here tried pedal generators or any other oddball energy options?

People always forget things like dental care—floss, temporary filling kits, clove oil. That stuff’s a lifesaver long-term. Anyone else have tips for keeping teeth healthy off-grid?
