What Skill Do You Wish You’d Learned Before Prepping?

Wish I’d learned more about water purification beyond just boiling and basic filters. Anyone else feel like there’s gaps in their practical skill set? What do you wish you’d picked up sooner before getting serious about prepping?

Wish I’d learned more about foraging wild edibles before I started getting serious about prepping. Growing food is one thing, but knowing what’s safe to eat in your own backyard or local parks is a whole other level of self-reliance. Anyone else regret skipping those home repair workshops?
