Everyday carry gets tweaked with the seasons, but right now mine’s pretty standard: small IFAK (Israeli bandage, gloves, shears, QuikClot pad), flashlight, multitool, backup phone battery, whistle, and a basic water filter straw. I keep a laminated list of family contacts in case the phone’s dead. Thinking about adding a few OTC meds—wondering what you all consider essential for EDC first aid? Really relate to the struggle with bag weight—mine gets heavy fast, especially hauling around extra batteries for my little solar charger.
