Wish I’d gotten serious about backup power earlier, honestly. Had a few close calls where a simple inverter or solar setup would’ve made all the difference for keeping my radios running. Can’t overstate how handy it is to keep communication lines open, even just for weather info. Anyone else put off reliable power sources and regret it?
 
Didn’t start canning my own jams and veggies until a few years after I got into prepping, and I seriously wish I’d done it sooner.
