What’s One Prep You Wish You’d Started Sooner?

Wish I’d started a rainwater catchment system years ago—would have saved time and money on water storage. Anyone else regret waiting too long on a specific prep? Curious what others would change if you could start over.

Really wish I’d gotten serious about learning to can a lot sooner. When I first started gardening, I’d end up giving away or even composting so much extra produce just because I didn’t know what to do with it all. Wish I’d invested in solar panels way earlier. All those years messing with generators and hauling fuel when a couple panels and a battery bank would’ve let me keep the lights (and the jazz) going with way less hassle. Funny how you think it’s “too expensive” til you add up what you spend on other
