What do you all regret not starting sooner—water storage, security, skills?

Definitely wish I'd jumped into hands-on skills earlier, especially radio communication. Supplies are important, but knowing *how* to use gear and actually practice emergency comms makes a huge difference when things go sideways. Water storage too—I put it off, thinking I'd have time, but setting up a solid system takes more effort than I expected. ChamomileCraze, did you find any skill in particular harder to pick up than expected? For me, antenna building was surprisingly tricky at first.
