Solar panels are definitely up there for me, too. Regret not starting smaller with a couple panels and learning as I went, instead of waiting until I could afford a big setup. The price has come down a bit, but I still kick myself because now that I use them I see how much of a difference even a basic system makes—keeps the freezer running and a few lights on during outages, which happened more than I ever expected.
