What’s the One Prep You Wish You Started Sooner?

Looking back, I really wish I’d started building up my water storage much earlier. Clean water always seems like something you’ll have until suddenly you don’t. For those who’ve been doing this a while, what’s the one prep you regret delaying? Was it food stocks, comms, skills training, or something else entirely? Curious to see what others would prioritize if they could go back.

Really wish I’d focused on learning more about radios and alternative communication sooner. When cell service went out during that big storm a few years back, I realized how much I was missing. Got a little too comfortable relying on my phone, honestly. Has anyone here actually had to use ham radios in a real emergency? Wondering how practical they really are.
