I always reach for my wind-up radio first—it’s got a little built-in flashlight, so I can find everything else without stumbling around. Headlamps are a total game changer for outages, especially when you need both hands for things like prepping food, hunting down candles, or just not tripping over furniture. I keep one by the bed and another in the kitchen drawer, plus they’re rechargeable with my little solar panel. Candles are cozy, but I don’t trust myself not to forget one somewhere! Has anyone tried those cheap USB clip-on lights? Wondering if they hold up.
