Water sourcing and purification jumps to the top of my list if the grid goes down for good. Without clean water, all those other skills can’t do much. I’ve spent a lot of time learning old-school filtration techniques and basic distillation—nothing fancy but reliable. After that, fire-making by friction is probably my next priority since it ties into everything from warmth to cooking. Anyone else here practice
