Everyone talks about water, food, and first aid, but I rarely see anyone mention spare eyeglasses or reading glasses. If you rely on them for anything, they’re critical—imagine trying to read medication labels or start a fire without clear vision. Do you keep backups stashed in your main kit or have another overlooked item you swear by? Curious what other “small” preps people consider essential that don’t get discussed much.

Backups in the main kit for sure—it’s amazing how easy it is to lose track of the little stuff when you’re out there fumbling around.
