Every time I go through my gear, I realize I rarely see folks mention needle and dental floss—not just thread. It’s lightweight, strong, and super versatile. What’s an item you rarely hear discussed but wouldn’t want to be without when it counts?

I hardly ever see folks mention vinegar. It’s not flashy but works for cleaning, preserving food, deodorizing, even a mild disinfectant in a pinch. Tiny bottle, tons of uses.
