Lately, I realized I don’t have nearly enough spare eyeglasses tucked away—if I break my main pair during a crisis, I’m in real trouble. Seems like a small thing, but impossible to read labels or instructions without them. What’s the most easily overlooked item in your own prepping stockpile? Absolutely agree about the glasses—mine are essential for reading instructions too. For me, it's always hand-crank radios; I keep forgetting to check if they're still working or just gathering dust.

Had the same issue with my old radio—turned it on during a storm and realized the batteries had leaked ages ago. It’s so easy to forget those “check-ups” until you actually need the thing. Another one for me is can openers. I’ve got canned food, but lost my opener for weeks once! Anyone else forget the basics like that?
