Dental floss hardly gets mentioned, but it's super strong—works for repairs, traps, even sewing wounds in a pinch. What do you folks consider your most overlooked item in your kit? Curious what else is flying under the radar.

Vaseline gets overlooked all the time, but it's so handy. Works as a firestarter when smeared on cotton balls, keeps lips and hands from cracking, and even helps with squeaky hinges or zippers. I always tuck a little tub into my bag—so multipurpose it’s silly. Anyone else keep those tiny hotel containers for this stuff, or is that just me?
