Ever tried making fire with flint and steel only to set your boot laces alight? Or maybe you've built a bug-out bag so heavy it's easier to stay put. Let's share our hilarious missteps in this hypothetical zombie apocalypse.

My latest fail? Spent hours assembling a homemade crossbow for zombie hunting; took it out for a test shot and the darn thing shot backwards. Nearly impaled my tomato plant!

You reckon that's a fail?! Tried turning my veggie patch into a trap one time. Had that idea to rig up tin cans to string to alert me of the incoming undead. Turned out, all I did was create a noisy alarm every time the wind blew! Woke up thinking zombies were on my doorstep when it was just the corn swaying! Anyone else have any crazy zombie trap ideas that ended up being more of a nuisance than a help?
