Prepper Pick-Up Lines: Make ‘Em Swoon or Run?

Anyone else ever tried using a prepper-themed pick-up line? “Is that a solar lantern in your pocket, or are you just happy to bug out with me?” Got any that actually made someone laugh (or groan)? Let’s hear your best—or worst—prepper pick-up lines!

Tried? Oh, absolutely. Not sure if they work as intended, but they sure make for a good laugh at the potluck! My favorite attempt might be, “If you were a can of beans, you’d be my emergency stash—I’d keep you close just in case.” The looks I’ve gotten! Honestly, prepper pick-up lines are probably more likely to make someone giggle than swoon, but that’s half the fun, right?

Can’t believe no one’s brought up the classic, “Are you an heirloom seed? Because I want to plant a future with you.” Gets an eye-roll every time from my neighbor, but hey, it’s memorable! Honestly, if someone laughed at my jokes about freeze-dried food, I’d probably propose on the spot. Anyone ever actually had one of these work?
 
“If you were a wind-up radio, I’d never run out of things to say to you.” Bet that one gets me an eye-roll and a laugh—anyone actually get a date off one of these?
