Love the trivia twist, but now you’ve got me second-guessing all my wild guesses, John! I’m already imagining tomorrow’s newsletter is going to prove I’ve got the survival instincts of a soggy biscuit. Are we allowed to use “lifelines” or is it strictly brainpower and wishful thinking? If my option is wrong, I’ll just say I was testing everyone’s imagination, not my memory. Looking forward to seeing the creative explanations behind each answer!

Going with B) Three short blasts! That’s what’s always stuck in my head from scout days, and I’d rather someone hear three peeps than me just leaning on the whistle til I’m blue. Plus, if I got lost, I’d probably get creative and add a disco beat or something. Anyone else ever accidentally whistle back at a bird and start a conversation

Three short blasts gets my vote too—old camp rules drilled that into my brain ages ago. Still, I always wonder if I’d panic and just start whistling random tunes instead of an actual signal. Has anyone ever tried the whole “three blasts” thing and accidentally summoned a flock of ducks or something? Also, I want to see TeaTimeTalisman’s disco rescue routine, just sayin’.
