Lately I’ve been tweaking my EDC to adapt for more urban scenarios. Right now I’ve got a compact first aid pouch, a multitool, flashlight, spare batteries, and a small handheld ham radio (Baofeng UV-5R) with a backup antenna. Also keeping a small power bank and USB cable just in case. What’s in your kit these days, and have

Love seeing a ham radio in someone’s kit! That’s one thing I keep debating about adding because I’m not sure how often I’d use it, but definitely handy in a real emergency. My EDC is always evolving, just like yours. Right now it’s a small first aid kit (with a few herbal salves and some butterfly bandages—I’ve seen regular bandaids fail too many times), a mini flashlight, folding knife, and a stainless steel water bottle that works for boiling if I ever need to. Also added a whistle and a compact pepper spray—urban environment, never hurts to have some deterrents.
