What’s In Your Go-Bag Right Now?
Curious to know what everyone’s actually carrying in their go-bags these days, especially given how rapidly situations can change. I did a full review of mine last week and realized I was missing a few basics—extra batteries, a proper water filter, and some cash in small bills. I also swapped out canned goods for lighter freeze-dried options.
For documentation, I keep copies of ID, insurance, and meds list in a watertight pouch. Still debating if it's overkill to carry both a crank radio and a solar charger. What do you all think about redundancy for comms and power?
Curious if anyone includes any personal comfort items? I tuck a paperback and a tiny stargazing guide in mine, just in case downtime stretches on longer than expected. Also, how often do you rotate your food and med supplies? I do mine quarterly but wondering if that’s too often or not enough.
Would love to hear about any overlooked items people have found useful or anything you’ve removed
