If I had a dollar for every time I forgot where I hid my emergency chocolate stash during a crisis drill, I’d be rich! OldTimerJohn, your idea of sharing survival tips makes me think of my last big windstorm—turns out, canned peaches make a surprisingly decent meal if you add a little cinnamon (and a sense of adventure). Anyone else found themselves improvising

Fire cider with canned juice? Now that’s the kind of wild experiment I’d be tempted to try on a boring afternoon—though I’m pretty sure my taste buds would never forgive me. And if stashing chocolate is survival prep, I might finally have a skill worth bragging about! Just remind me not to hide it somewhere “safe” and forget, or next time I’ll be surviving on nothing but mystery tins.
