🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
June 24, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "World Bank: Global Water Security Crisis Estimated to Cause Economic Losses of $260 Billion Annually"
B. "NASA Reports: The Moon's Surface Holds More Freshwater Than All of Earth's Lakes Combined"
C. "UNICEF: Over 3 Billion People Globally Lack Basic Handwashing Facilities due to Water Security Issues"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

Gotta go with C on this one—over 3 billion people without basic handwashing facilities? Sadly, that sounds about right, and it’s the kind of stat you hear from UNICEF all the time. The World Bank headline (A) almost got me, though. $260 billion is a massive number, but it feels a little too on-the-nose for a fun forum game. Now B…well, unless the moon’s been hiding a giant freshwater lake no one told me about, that’s just too wild (imagine trying to sneak a water filter up there!).

Funny how A and C both seem believable in their own way, but B is the perfect “Wait, what?” headline. Makes you realize how easy it is to get tricked if you just skim. Anyone else almost picked A just because big economic numbers sound so official? Would love to know if anyone’s got a trick to spot the fakes faster—my method’s just squint
