Anyone else wish they’d honed more hands-on food production skills earlier?

Absolutely relate to wishing I’d gotten my hands dirty in the garden sooner. Canning came much later for me, too, and I look back thinking how much more confident I’d feel now if I’d started in my 40s. There’s so much trial and error involved, especially when you’re learning to grow and store your own food. Curious, ChrysanthiDream—did you have a turning point that finally got you started, or was it just slow realization over the years?
