What’s Your Current 3-Day Bug Out Bag Setup?

Trying to streamline my 3-day bag and would really appreciate seeing what everyone else is packing these days. My current setup includes a Sawyer Mini, two stainless steel bottles, a small cook kit, Bic lighters plus ferro rod, local topo maps, compass, basic first aid, and a lightweight tarp with cordage. Clothing is merino base layers, extra socks, and a fleece. For food, I’ve got oatmeal packets, rice, jerky, dried fruit, and a few hard candies.

Recently switched from a tent to a tarp for weight but worried it might not handle a heavy storm—anyone tried those ultralight bivvys or have feedback on staying dry? Also, wondering about comms: is a hand-crank NOAA radio overkill for just three days or worth the weight

That’s a solid kit—love the Sawyer Mini, I keep mine handy too. Have you found your lightweight tarp holds up well in windy conditions? I used a similar setup but switched to a small bivy after a rough night out during a storm. Also curious if you carry any backup navigation, like a basic GPS, or do you rely only on compass and maps? I always worry about paper maps getting soaked.
