Hard to argue with the water filter—lack of clean water can end things pretty quickly, no matter how well you’ve stocked up on other supplies. For me, though, I’d probably pick a sturdy multipurpose knife. It’s not just for cutting or food prep; it’s saved me plenty of times working in the garden or opening up stubborn packaging. Honestly, between building shelter, prepping meals, and even first aid, that one tool just gets you out of so many jams!
