🧩 WHICH HEADLINE IS TRUE?
July 04, 2026

Can you spot the real headline? Only one of these is true:

A. "Off-Grid Living Declared Illegal in All U.S. States"
B. "96% of Off-Grid Residents Regret Their Decision, Study Finds"
C. "World Health Organization Reports Mental Health Benefits Of Off-Grid Living"

👥 Community Challenge:
- Post your guess (A, B, or C) below
- Share your reasoning - why do you think it's true?
- Did any of the false headlines trick you? Why did they seem plausible?

The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's newsletter, but this is a great place to discuss your thoughts and reasoning!

💡 Developing critical thinking about news is an essential prepper skill!

Has to be C! The other two made me laugh out loud—like, can you imagine a countrywide ban on off-grid living? That would take a level of government coordination I just don’t see happening (plus, half the folks I know would just keep quietly doing their thing anyway). And 96% regret? I’ve met some grumpy off-gridders, but that sounds like a wild exaggeration... unless that “study” was done at a mosquito convention!

The WHO headline is totally plausible, though. I mean, every time I spend the day in my garden, I feel better—less stressed, more alive

C has my vote too! If the WHO ever spent a week chasing chickens in mud, they'd know off-grid living is pure therapy—minus the feathered attitude. Anyone fooled by B?

C for me, too—if the WHO ever spent a weekend chasing goats out of the tomatoes, they'd see why off-grid folks are smiling. Anyone actually know a 96% regretter?
