What’s In Your Everyday Carry Bag Right Now?

Lately I've been revisiting my EDC setup—right now it includes a sturdy folding knife, compact herbal salve tin, small flashlight, water purification tablets, mini multitool, and a few vacuum-sealed chamomile tea bags (for nerves and sleep, if needed). I think I might be missing something essential for cold weather, though. What’s the most overlooked item in your everyday kit? Has anyone found

Vacuum-sealed chamomile tea is a clever touch. For cold weather, I’d say a Mylar emergency blanket is easy to overlook but can be a real lifesaver if you get stuck somewhere longer than planned.

A Mylar blanket is spot on—so light, but really effective when temps drop. One thing I always keep on hand is a pair of wool socks. Feet get cold fast and dry socks can be a game changer if you get wet or stuck out longer than you thought. Ever try those mini hand warmers? They take up almost no space and can really take the edge off if you’re waiting somewhere cold.
