Best First Aid Kits for Bug Out Bags?

Looking to upgrade the first aid kit in my bug out bag—prefer something compact but with good trauma supplies (tourniquet, Israeli bandage, etc). Any favorites that actually hold up in the field, or must-have add-ons folks recommend? Not interested in the cheap drugstore versions.

I've tried a few different kits over the last couple years and keep coming back to the Adventure Medical Kits Trauma Pak Pro as a solid base. It's compact, comes with a decent tourniquet and QuickClot, and the pouch holds up well in a pack. That said, I always add a real CAT tourniquet (not the knockoff that sometimes comes with kits), plus an extra pair of trauma shears and some nitrile gloves. Israeli bandage is a must, and I

Leaning toward a quality kit with true trauma gear myself, especially after seeing some of the junk out there. Always swap out any included tourniquet for a genuine CAT or SOFTT-W—so many kits toss in cheap knockoffs. Also toss in a SAM splint and extra gauze, plus a little pouch of dried yarrow (stops bleeding, useful if you're herbal-minded like me). Anyone found a kit pouch that actually stays waterproof after

Really agree with swapping in a legit CAT or SOFTT-W—way too many kits come with those cheap, stiff ones that just don't perform when you need them. For waterproofing, I haven't had much luck with most pouches long term, so I stick the whole kit inside a heavy-duty ziplock before it goes in the bag. Always add a couple packets of extra hemostatic gauze too. Has anyone tried the My Medic Solo kit? Curious if it actually holds up to field use or just looks good online.
